Vibration Sensor
VIBRATION DETECTION PRINCIPLE: Uses an SW-420 normally closed type vibration sensor that detects mechanical shocks or vibrations. When vibration exceeds the set threshold, the internal switch momentarily opens and the module generates a digital signal indicating motion or impact.
OPERATING VOLTAGE: Functions efficiently with a 3.3V to 5V DC power supply, making it suitable for microcontrollers and embedded systems.
COMPARATOR CIRCUIT: Integrated with a wide-voltage LM393 comparator IC that produces a clean signal with good waveform and strong driving capability greater than 15 mA.
INTERFACE DESIGN: Features a 3-pin configuration (VCC, GND, DO) allowing simple connection with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other development boards.
OUTPUT SIGNAL: Provides a digital switching output (0 or 1) depending on whether vibration is detected.
THRESHOLD ADJUSTMENT: Includes an onboard potentiometer that allows users to adjust the vibration detection sensitivity based on the required application.
INDICATOR LEDs: Includes a status indicator LED that shows module condition and vibration detection activity.
MOUNTING DESIGN: Designed with bolt holes on the PCB for easy and stable installation in electronic or mechanical systems.
MODULE DIMENSIONS: Compact module measuring approximately 3 × 2 × 1 cm, suitable for small embedded projects.
APPLICATION SCOPE: Commonly used in shock detection systems, theft alarms, smart vehicles, earthquake detection devices, vibration monitoring systems, and motorcycle alarm systems
