Magnetic Float Sensor
LIQUID LEVEL DETECTION PRINCIPLE: Detects the level of liquid in a tank using a magnetic float mechanism. When the liquid level rises or falls, the float moves and activates an internal reed switch to open or close the circuit.
OPERATING TYPE: Mechanical level switch that works without a complex electronic circuit or external power supply.
SENSOR MODEL: FS37A Magnetic Float Sensor designed for reliable liquid level detection.
OUTPUT SIGNAL: Provides a digital switching output that changes state depending on the liquid level position.
SWITCH CONFIGURATION: Operates as a two-wire SPST switch and can be configured as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) by inverting the float.
CONTACT RATING: Supports up to 10W contact power rating for switching operations.
SWITCHING VOLTAGE: Capable of switching voltages up to 220V.
CURRENT CAPACITY: Can handle small current loads up to approximately 0.5A; a relay or contactor is recommended for higher loads.
CONTACT RESISTANCE: Typical contact resistance around 100 mΩ.
INTERFACE CONNECTION: Two-wire connection where one wire connects to a microcontroller digital input and the other connects to ground.
MODULE DIMENSIONS: Approximately 45 mm × 17 mm compact structure suitable for tank installation.
APPLICATION SCOPE: Widely used in water tanks, hydroponics systems, aquariums, filtration systems, basement alarms, coffee machines, and process industries.
