LM393 Photosensitive LDR Sensor
LIGHT DETECTION PRINCIPLE: Uses a photosensitive LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) that changes resistance according to the intensity of ambient light, allowing the module to detect brightness variations in the surrounding environment.
OPERATING VOLTAGE: Functions with a 3.3V to 5V DC power supply, making it compatible with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontroller platforms.
COMPARATOR CIRCUIT: Built with an LM393 comparator IC that converts the analog signal from the LDR into a stable digital output for reliable light detection.
INTERFACE DESIGN: Features a 4-pin interface (VCC, GND, DO, AO) for easy connection with development boards and embedded systems.
OUTPUT SIGNAL: Provides both digital output (ON/OFF) and analog voltage output, enabling detection of light presence as well as measurement of light intensity.
SENSITIVITY ADJUSTMENT: Includes an onboard potentiometer that allows the user to adjust the light detection threshold according to application requirements.
INDICATOR LED: Equipped with a status indicator LED that visually displays the detection of light signals and module operation.
MODULE DIMENSIONS: Compact module measuring approximately 33 mm × 14 mm × 8 mm with a lightweight design of around 4 grams.
APPLICATION SCOPE: Commonly used in automatic lighting systems, light-activated switches, brightness detection circuits, smart home lighting control, environmental monitoring systems, and robotics projects.
