SENSING PRINCIPLE: Operates using a high-side current sensing technique where the voltage drop across a precision shunt resistor is measured and converted into digital current, voltage, and power data.

SENSOR STRUCTURE: The module integrates the INA219 power monitoring IC along with an onboard precision shunt resistor to measure current flow with minimal power loss.

PIN CONFIGURATION: VCC (Power supply), GND (Ground), SCL (I2C clock line), SDA (I2C data line), VIN+ (Positive input from power source), VIN− (Load side connection).

OUTPUT SIGNAL: Provides digital measurement data for bus voltage, current, and calculated power through the I2C communication interface.

OPERATING VOLTAGE: Supports a supply voltage range of approximately 2.7V to 5.5V for reliable operation with microcontrollers.

BUS VOLTAGE RANGE: Capable of monitoring voltages from 0V up to 26V in high-side measurement configuration.

COMMUNICATION INTERFACE: Uses an I2C/SMBus interface, allowing simple integration with microcontrollers.

MEASUREMENT ACCURACY: Provides high precision with approximately ±0.4% voltage accuracy and about ±1% current measurement accuracy.

LOW POWER OPERATION: Consumes very low standby current (approximately 1 mA).

APPLICATION SCOPE: Commonly used in battery monitoring systems, energy measurement devices, robotics power management, power supply diagnostics, and embedded energy monitoring applications.
