Heart Rate Pulse Sensor
SENSING PRINCIPLE: Detects heart rate by measuring blood volume changes through optical sensing on a finger or earlobe and converts the signal into an analog output representing pulse waveform.
PIN CONFIGURATION: Ao (Analog output for pulse signal), VDC (Power supply 3.3V–5V), GND (Ground).
ELECTRODE CONNECTION: Can be attached to a finger or earlobe using the included Velcro strap or ear clip for stable measurements.
OUTPUT SIGNAL: Provides analog pulse waveform suitable for microcontroller analog input pins.
OPERATING VOLTAGE: Compatible with 3.3V to 5V DC power supply.
SIGNAL CONDITIONING: Built-in amplification and noise cancellation circuits enhance signal clarity and reliability for fast and accurate pulse readings.
OPERATING TEMPERATURE: Functional within typical ambient conditions for wearable electronics and educational projects.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: PCB diameter 15 mm; module package dimensions 8 × 6 × 2 cm; lightweight design at 50 grams; includes color-coded cable with male headers, ear clip, and Velcro finger strap for easy attachment.
APPLICATION SCOPE: Suitable for sleep tracking, anxiety monitoring, remote patient monitoring or alarms, health bands, wearable devices, and integration into interactive gaming or mobile applications.
