Brushless DC Fan (5V)
WORKING PRINCIPLE: The 5V 4010 DC fan operates using a brushless DC motor mechanism that converts electrical energy into rotational motion. When a 5V DC power supply is applied, the internal driver circuit energizes the stator coils in sequence, producing a rotating magnetic field. This magnetic field rotates the permanent magnet rotor attached to the fan blades. The rotating blades push air through the fan, creating airflow that helps remove heat from electronic components.
MODULE STRUCTURE: The fan is built in a compact thermoplastic casing frame that houses the brushless motor, fan blades, and sleeve bearing system. The frame is designed for efficient airflow and durability. The fan also includes a long cable with a ready-to-use connector suitable for direct connection to development boards.
PIN CONFIGURATION: The fan uses two power wires through a connector: Red – Positive supply (+5V), Black – Ground (GND)
OPERATING VOLTAGE: 5V DC
SIGNAL CONDITIONING: The internal brushless motor driver circuit ensures smooth rotation, low electrical noise, and efficient power consumption during operation.
