BO Motor L Shape (200 RPM)
WORKING PRINCIPLE: The 200 RPM L-Shaped BO Motor is a geared DC motor that converts electrical energy into mechanical rotational motion. When a DC voltage is applied to the motor terminals, the internal armature rotates due to the electromagnetic interaction between the coil windings and the permanent magnets. The built-in gear reduction mechanism decreases the motor’s high rotational speed and increases torque, producing a stable output speed of around 200 RPM.
MODULE STRUCTURE: The motor consists of a compact DC motor coupled with a plastic gearbox in an L-shaped configuration. The gearbox contains a series of reduction gears that lower the speed and increase torque. The lightweight plastic body includes mounting points that allow the motor to be securely fixed to robot frames or mechanical assemblies. The single output shaft is designed for easy attachment of wheels or couplers.
PIN CONFIGURATION: The motor has two electrical terminals: Positive (+) – Connect to the positive terminal of the DC power supply, Negative (−) – Connect to the ground or negative terminal of the power supply, Reversing the polarity will reverse the direction of rotation.
INTERFACE CONNECTION: The motor can be powered directly using a 3V to 12V DC supply. In robotics systems, it is commonly controlled through motor driver modules such as L293D or L298N when connected to microcontrollers.
OUTPUT FUNCTION: The motor produces 200 RPM rotational output after gear reduction with moderate torque, making it suitable for driving wheels and moving mechanisms in small robotic platforms.
OPERATING VOLTAGE: 3V – 12V DC
SIGNAL CONDITIONING: Motor driver circuits can be used to regulate speed using PWM signals and direction using H-bridge control, enabling precise motion.
