BO Motor L Shape (100 RPM)
WORKING PRINCIPLE: The 100 RPM L-Shaped BO Motor is a DC geared motor designed to convert electrical energy into controlled rotational motion. When DC voltage is supplied to the motor terminals, current flows through the internal coil windings, generating a magnetic field. This interaction causes the rotor to rotate. The built-in gear reduction mechanism decreases the motor speed while increasing torque.
MODULE STRUCTURE: The motor consists of a compact DC motor unit connected to a plastic gearbox arranged in an L-shaped configuration. The gearbox contains multiple gears that reduce the high speed of the motor to a lower output speed while increasing torque. The housing is made of durable plastic and metal components, ensuring strength and reliability during continuous operation. The body includes mounting holes for easy installation in mechanical systems.
PIN CONFIGURATION: The motor has two electrical terminals: Positive (+) – Connect to the positive terminal of the DC power supply, Negative (–) – Connect to the ground or negative terminal of the power supply. Interchanging the polarity will reverse the direction of motor rotation.
INTERFACE CONNECTION: The motor can be powered directly using a 3V–6V DC supply or controlled using motor driver modules such as L293D or L298N when interfaced with microcontrollers.
OUTPUT FUNCTION: The motor produces low-speed rotational output with improved torque, making it suitable for driving wheels, conveyor mechanisms, and robotic systems that require stable and controlled motion.
OPERATING VOLTAGE: 3V – 6V DC
SIGNAL CONDITIONING: Motor driver circuits are commonly used with this motor to control speed using PWM signals and direction using H-bridge circuits, especially in robotic control systems.
