DISPLAY PRINCIPLE: The 16×4 LCD display operates using liquid crystal technology to display characters on a matrix arranged in four rows with sixteen characters in each row. It communicates through a parallel interface controlled by the HD44780 display controller, allowing microcontrollers to send commands and character data for visualization on the screen.
MODULE STRUCTURE: The module contains a 16×4 alphanumeric LCD panel with a green LED backlight and dark characters that provide clear readability. It is built with a durable PCB and includes standard 0.1-inch pitch header pins, making it easy to connect with breadboards, microcontroller boards, and development kits.

INTERFACE CONNECTION: The display uses a standard HD44780-compatible parallel interface, which allows direct connection with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, STM32, ESP boards, and other microcontrollers. It supports both 4-bit and 8-bit data communication modes depending on the available I/O pins and design requirements.
OUTPUT DISPLAY: The module can present up to 16 characters on each of the 4 rows. It is capable of displaying text messages, numeric values, menu options, sensor data, and device status information clearly on the screen.
OPERATING VOLTAGE: The display works with a 5V DC power supply. The built-in LED backlight also operates from the same supply and helps improve visibility in low-light environments.
SIGNAL CONDITIONING: The contrast of the display can be adjusted using the VO pin by connecting a potentiometer. This allows the user to fine-tune the character visibility for different lighting conditions.
